How to Decorate Bubble Containers for Weddings

Bubbles add a whimsical touch to the wedding.

Bubbles have become an increasingly popular trend for weddings. The bubbles can be distributed to wedding guests and used in lieu of the traditional throwing of rice at the newlyweds as they exit the ceremony. Instead of sprinkling flowers on the aisle as she leads the way for the bride, the flower girl can instead blow bubbles for a whimsical touch. Regardless of the exact scenario, decorating the bubble containers to coincide with the wedding theme allows you to add a personal touch to a small but noticeable detail of the ceremony.

• Stickers
• Acrylic paint
• Paint brush

• Labels
• Hot glue gun

     Adhere stickers to the outside of the bubble containers. Choose wedding related stickers, such as bells, wedding dresses and cakes in white, or incorporate your wedding color palette in the stickers. You could also opt for some classically romantic sticker imagery, such as pink hearts and red roses.

     Paint the outside of the bubble containers with an acrylic paint. Paint simple hearts and flowers on the outside or add personal touches with the couple's initials and wedding date.

     Print or order custom labels to decorate the bubble containers. Print the labels with the names of the couple or simply their initials, such as "M + J." You could also include their wedding date and location. Stick the labels to the outside of the bubble containers.

     Wind ribbon that matches the wedding color palette around the outside of the bubble containers, adhering the ribbon in place with some double-sided tape. Leave some excess ribbon streaming off the bottom of the containers for a visual effect,

For example, for a beach themed wedding, glue sand and tiny seashells to the outside of the containers. For a tropical wedding, glue silk flowers to the outside of the containers.
